Asus p4p800 and zalman z80a issues?
Does anyone know if the northbridge heatsink on the p4p800 gets in the way of putting a z80a on your videocard? Also would a slk900 fit on this mobo without issues?
Apparently not
I just installed a ZM-50HP on my P4P800 with a Geforce 4460MX and initially it would not even fit as the Northbridge was in the way.
I removed a couple of risers on the rear of the ZM-50 and it just squeezes in now.
Apparently, the ZM-80A will work but I have no firm evidence of this apart from second hand info. Apparently it sits up higher on the VGA card but I think you need to check whether your VGA transistors will be an issue or not.
