50% and 75% RPM how to achieve ??

sorry may sound silly, i'm new to here.....

7v or 5v ??

and anyone know how these two 120mm fans compare Papst 4412FGL and Panaflo FBA12G12L when they both operate at 50% and 75% RPM (thier quietness and CFM) ??

i have both. without running controlled empirical test, they are subjectively comparable at 12V, 7V, and 5V..

my recommendation, which may differ from others, is get what is cheapest or most accessible of the two to you. i believe papst may be easier to get than panaflo in europe and vice versa for US.

Wasn't sure if you needed help on the 12V to 7V or 5V, but you use leftover molex connectors to make your own cheaply: http://www.dslwebserver.com/main/fr_ind ... apter.html
