Fans dBA chart opinions

http://www.directron.com/noise.html directon above has a chart with all the noise ratings of a lot of fans, they're methods seem to be okay but I'm slightly suspcious of some of the results that they're reporting like the Panaflow L1A being in the middle of the pack, and the average dB ratings are also on the thermally controlled fans as well

Yeah, something doesnt seem quite right here... Especially as Directron sells some of the fans in the review. Had a hunch that the winner of the roundup might be on offer at the moment... Funnily enough it

you know what we need is someone that is rich or happens to work in a computer shop or something to plug in a whole bunch of fans and compare them at stock voltage and at 5 and 7 volts and make a chart of all the data noise and airflow. that way we know that the data is correct and isnt just another chart that obviously has incorrect data as i have seen quite a few fan charts that were obviously wrong.

it still has the panaflo 12mmL1a as bing 35db when its suppose to be 30db and 69 cfm.
