I'm using a rheostatic fan controller by Zalman that is rated up to 6watts. Do you think this is good enough for more than one fans? Now I have a 92mm Zalman fan hooked up to it, but I'm thinking of also connecting my noisy GF4 fan to it.
Zalman told me "The actual temperature of regulator within Fan Mate 1 case may go up to 80 degrees Celsius or more while it is being used at lowest RPM in a certain environmental condition."

I would think it would be ok. Lets say at lowest fan volts, the zalman has 6V across it. That means it can withstand an amp of current.
Do you know the resistance of the zalman fan? & do you have a multimeter?

And u can work out how much each fan is rated for using
Power = IV
Power = I (current in Amps) x V (voltage)

Mm don't know its resistance, don't have a multimeter. If I knew the resistance, can I use V/R to get I and know whether the sum of IV would exceed P? Thanks.

probably worth your time to get one shunx, then measure the current of the fan by putting the leads in serious, most fan stickers thought will have their current rating or sometimes it's actual power rating on it...
or u could just plug the fan serial number into google and see what that pops up
