Few years back when i lived alone, cleaning and especially vacuuming weren't my favourites. As result of this, lots of dust got inside my computercase.

As it was damn-old pc, it didn't have any casefans, it was cool enough as it was. With my new setup, I put some rangehood-filter (that thing in kitchen that get mighty hot, where someone cooks food ) in front of my fans to keep the dust out.

I have started to think that those filters might interfere with the fans too much, but still I would like to use somekind of filters to keep the dust outside my case. There is dust, even if I got and cleaned the house thoroughly.

Any ideas, because I can't come up with any material that could act as filter with minimal airflow blocking

Why don't you try to do something with nylon panties for women?
I haven't tried it myself, but it looks like good enough to give it a try.

Just don't cut holes in one of the panties of your lady...
buy a pair yourself: in the supermarket you can find them for less than 3€ or so.

i've used something like these on machine that has two intakes in the front...seems to work pretty well. i like the pantyhose idea though!
