I have the 92mm Panaflo L1A in my modded power supply and haven't been able to hear it yet. At 12V, it is definitely audible, at 7v you don't hear the fan so much as the air it is pushing. At 5v it is still pushing a good bit of noise and sound at most like a light breeze.

I would go with the Papst. I have had great luck with papst, they start off quiet and stay quiet. Panaflo's are a bit louder...but of course they work just fine as well if you 7V them....but I have found that Papst often don't even need a volt mod to be (very near) inaudible.
