A little more flow...(120mm)

Post by sgtspiff » Fri Oct 20, 2006 1:35 am

Going to buy a system that needs good flow to be cool and I have come down to what two 120mm fans I'm going to buy for good airflow.

Have tried to search the forum but the searc function really su... is not what it should be.

Anyway the chassi is a Silverstone TJ08 that already has two fans. But those (somewhere there is a post about them but I couln't find it) are a bit weak when it come to airflow (told by another dude with exactly the same system as I will buy).

I've looked at these;

Scythe S-Flex 8,7dBA (seems to weak even at 12V)
Nexus Real silent (seems to weak at 7V and to loud at 12V)
Everflow 18dBA (just plain cheap)

So I need someting that pushes around as much air as the nexus at 12V but wont be as loud as the Nexus.
Maybe a more powerful fan at 7V or 5V?
Correct me if I'm wrong about my statements or tip me about a pair of good quiet fans.

Hello,

The sticky at the top of this section is a fine place to look for info on quiet 120mm fans!
