I'm running a DigitalDoc5. You can get an rpm readout of all the fans connected to it by pushing the scan button....but you only get the readings one time. After the one scan it reverts back to full-time scanning of the eight temps.

When a fan is running you do get a little number shown on the left of the screen as to which one....and a little spinning fan icon on the right. That's it. The best thing IMHO is the ability to set an exact temp for each fan as to when it turns on.

My front case fan does not run at all until the chipset reaches 32C. I have another small secondary cpu fan that turns on at 39C. The result is a very quiet setup during normal usage. At high cpu usage(heat), these other fans start. No other product I'm aware of can duplicate this.

Also the D/D5 can take control of up to eight fans.....each fan is turned off/on by a separate temp sensor. Next project is to connect a series of leds that turn on when each fans turn on.
