Yes they do. Also very effective is the version that Directron.com sells for the power supply, here: http://www.directron.com/tnsypw.html

Al, thank you for your input. I didn't even know about the PSU washer. I'll probably give that one a go after I get a new (hopefully quiet) power supply. But first, I'll try it with my existing fans. :D

Will the Directron washer screw up case grounding thru the PSU?

It does help somewhat... but keep in mind... typical PSU placement usually alow it to sit on metal tray as well (in case of most expensive case). Better method would be opening up the PSU and iso mount those fan(s) in it. It will cut down the noise level from PSU dramatically.

iso mount the fans? What does that mean?

Some noise will still be vibrated through the screws if they are used. Use ear grommets in conjunction with these and you could achieve 0 vibration from fans.

Could you point me toward some ear grommets? Directron seems to offer the washers only.

Mcmaster Carr (search: fan mounts) or http://www.siliconacoustics.com/

Perhaps it is possible to make your own if you use silicon caulk
and a mold for the caulk. Let the caulk dry in the mold and there you go?
