Quick question about fan install

Post by TheSauce » Sat Apr 04, 2009 3:20 pm

Building a P-182 currently and my Scythe Slipstreams just came in...

I know it's a lame question... but if I'm looking at the fan, and the label is facing me... will the fan be blowing towards or away from my face?

I know which should be intake and which should be exhaust, I just don't want to install them and have to switch them all around because I didn't take the time to ask this question.

Thanks in advance!

Convention dictates that fans blow toward the side with the sticker.

Thanks Lawrence. I figured that'd be the case, I just wanted to get the okay from someone else.

Also, if you look on the side of the fan frame, one side should have arrows showing the way the fan blows and the way the fan blades rotate. (At least it's there on my slipstreams).
