Anyone here ever use the 2000rpm Scythe Slipstream?

I was looking at the Scythe Slipstream 2000rpm and then using a fanmate to turn it down as far as possible - does anyone perchance know what kind of rpm I would get in that case?

I was thinking it should be about 1200 perhaps, and I'd keep it there but I wouldn't mind having some extra headroom so-to-speak in one spot on my case.

Hi,

I don't think it will be quiet -- why not get the 1200RPM model and turn it down to 500-600RPM, and then crank it up to 1200 when you need it? Because if you really need a 2K RPM 120mm fan then you should do something else to gain the headroom you need.
