Buzzing Nexus 92mm fan

Recently, I bought a Nexus 92mm 1500 RPM fan from Newegg. Upon arrival, I immediately went to test it. It buzzed. On full power, it buzzed. Turning it down, it still buzzed. It's a light buzz from the motor, but it's there, and very annoying. It does not matter what the power source is. None of my fans exhibit this, not even my other Nexus.
Maybe it was a damaged sample? Time to RMA. Received a second sample. It buzzed. Two in a row. RMA'ed again. Received a third sample, packed securely in a big box for a single fan. It buzzed. Three in a row. If I were to request another RMA, I will have spent enough to buy two fans with change left over.
Just bad luck, or does Newegg possibly have a batch of defective Nexus 92mm fans? Has anyone bought this fan from them recently?

I'll give it a drop of lube and see if that helps.

When I pulled out the rubber cap, I saw that the bearing already has plenty of lube. Still, I added a drop just to eliminate any doubts, and let it run for an hour to permeate the bearing. Still buzzes with no improvement, but I thank you for your suggestion, ces. Trying something is better than RMA'ing over and over.

With the money already spent, and a useless fan staring me down, I am going to try one more RMA. Might as well invest in another sample to eliminate any doubt and produce a proper conclusion. Will the fan redeem itself, or will they all turn out to be unreliable?

The fourth fan has arrived. These fans are remarkably consistent. They all reliably buzz. The latest sample less so, but it's still there. 4/4 samples are enough for me to conclude that 100% of the current Nexus 92mm fans will buzz.

You can try to explain the problem to Nexus directly, mabe they'll be able to get you a non-buzzing fan ?
My 92mm PWM Nexus doesn't buzz, even if it can be far from quiet (2800 rpm
)

I no longer have it. It just wasn't worth keeping.

My 80mm Nexus also doesn't buzz. Neither does my Panaflo, Adda, table fan, pedestal fan, etc...
