Cooler master atc 220-vx1 case - cooling suggestions

Post by sdaccord01 » Mon Aug 11, 2003 1:02 am

Hi, i have this case, and while this case is very nice, I'm having problems with cooling and airflow in the case as well as noise. First, there are two fans, one on the top and one in the back, as well as the PSU fan and I have a CPU fan as well (Vantec Aeroflow). I also have a 3dcool slot fan as well, but I'm not having enough cooling in my case because when I play counterstrike, my computer restarts automatically when I play for a while and I'm assuming that's because it's overheating the video card (It doesn't happen when I open my side panel) Anyways, I was wondering what would be the effect of perhaps mounting a fan in the front panel because I do want to avoid cutting any holes into my case. Also, the stock fans are coolermaster for the top and back, will upgrading to Panaflow L1a's make a difference in sound? Please let me know what I should do to cool my case better.
