TY-141, Thermalright 140mm PWM fan to replace TY-140

Post by loimlo » Wed Nov 21, 2012 4:33 am

Does anyone have experience with TY-141?? I like its predecessor TY-140, but it's discontinued. TY-141 looks like to be a inferior fan in terms of sound characteristic given its two ball bearing.

This seems to be the same fan as fitted to the Thermalright Archon SB-E cooler. This cooler has been reviewed by SPCR. The data for the TY-141 is on this page. There is some comparable information about the TY-140 from the SPCR Thermalright Shaman cooler review on this page.

Thanks for your help, but it's TY-150 being tested instead of TY-140 in the article.....Anyway, it seems the fan isn't popular among SPCR users.

Fortunately, I've enough spare fans for myself. TY-140's extinction won't affect me that much.
