http://www.phanteks.com/PH-F140HP.html
Speed (RPM) 600 - 1300 ± 250 rpm
Max Airflow 40.9 - 88.6 CFM
Acoustical Noise 15.22 - 19 dB(A)
Static Pressure .39-1.64mm H2O

The PH-F140HP did very well in the SPCR article, but since then SP models have arrived (Static Pressure models, I assume, though they have similar specs, just 100rpm less max RPM) which look very similar apart from a colour switch and the addition of LEDs. It would be interesting to know whether they perform the same acoustically. I've tried searching on here to no avail (probably because of the specific codes).

Speed (RPM) 1200 ± 250 rpm
Max Airflow 82.1 CFM
Acoustical Noise 19 dB (A)
Static Pressure 1.33mm H2O

I can only find one review (http://www.hitechlegion.com/reviews/coo ... l=&start=3) which rate them highly, but I'm not sure on trusting just the one.

Does anybody have experience with these or can point me in the direction of more information with these as to their relative performance to the PH-F140HP?

Okay so after a bit more research I've answered my own question really. This isn't a successor, it is an addition to their fan range along with the 140XP. In increasing order of static pressure: HP-SP-XP, so I have been told. The HP has 120mm mounts whilst the SP has 140mm mounts and slightly different rubber grommets for the anti vibration. Performance seems to be similar because of the same basic design, but no hard figures or tests are available yet.

Just in case anybody else was wondering.

The XP is also PWM, not sure if the others are or not, Phantek has a very cool tech into where they transition PWM singal into voltage controlled, this was present in some of their coolers and now in their cases. But the Phanteks 140mm Case/Radiator Cooling Fan (PH-F140XP_BK) i tested, was pure PWM.
