<br>An idea to try to make a silent pc:
<br>Put one/a couple flexible fanducts:

<br>A) Geforce4/Other HIGH W graphicscard fanless heatsink
<br>B) CPU fanless heatsink
<br>C) Fanless PSU (from inside)
<br>
<br>If one makes this to only A and B, maybe C isnt needed - enough cold air is in the box.
<br>Even if you use one for C, you can use 3 80mm fans running at very low V/speed since the air is cold - making the system VERY VERY quiet/totally silent with the case closed!??

<br>I think if you have none or small/few ventilation holes in your chassi, the overpressure in the case will FORCE much of the incoming air to go out through the PSU, resulting in only two lowspeed 80mm fans in the entire system!

<br>This of course require a nice heatsink on the cpu Zalman CNPS5100-Cu/CNPS5100-Cu (pictures at <!-- BBCode auto-link start --><a href="http://www.zalman.co.kr/english)" target="_blank">http://www.zalman.co.kr/english)</a><!-- BBCode auto-link end --> and a nice heatsink on the GPU - maybe ZALMAN ZM17CU or even enough with the zalman chipsetfan ZM-NB32J (see pictures)

<br>I have a Zalman AL-CU heatsink with a 92mm fan hanging freely above the hs blowing on it at 40cfm/20dba, and i have a AXP 1800+. This is in ambient case temperature EXCEEDING 36°C! the fan is blowing 36°C warm air at 40cfm and cpu temp is 49°C. I beleive a fanduct blowing room-temperature ~22°C at 20cfm would be sufficient. The same goes with the geforce4 ti4200.
<br>IF this works, the still relatively cold air and the overpressure by 2*20cfm fans sucking IN air should be sufficient to cool down the PSU with the "tunnel" configuration described in <!-- BBCode auto-link start --><a href="http://www.silentpcreview.com/modules.p ... =15&page=4" target="_blank">http://www.silentpcreview.com/modules.p ... &page=4</a><!-- BBCode auto-link end -->
