Important tip for selecting/installing fans.

You want a motherboard with fan pins that allow for them to be controlled with software. For silence, controlling fan speeds is important so that they can be made to spin slower. Some motherboards have one fan connection that is controllable and one connection that isn't. In this situation, you may want a fan splitter that connects to 2-4 fans to the connection that is controllable and avoid the one that isn't controllable.
Also keep in mind that PWM fans have 4 pins instead of 3. A 4 pin fan won't work in a 3-pin splitter. It's probably best to go with all PWM fans or no PWM fans.
