P4 [email protected] in an Antec Sonata Case

Post by bmott » Sun Jun 20, 2004 6:12 pm

My current set up is a:

P4 [email protected] (233 fsb)
Asus P4p800 deluxe
1 Gig of HyperX PC4000 @ 466mhz
GF4 4600 128mb (yes i know its old)
Antec Sonata Case with stock single 120mm cooling
WD 10,000 RPM 36GB 8mb raptor
WD 7,200 RPM 250GB 8mb

I want to run at [email protected] to take full advantage of my ram.

However i am afraid to run at this temp, and would like to put beter cooling in my case.

I am considering:

One or two Panaflow L1 120mm
One or two Vantec Stealth 120mm
One or two Vantec Thermoflow 120mm
One or two Papst 120mm
One or two Evercool 120mm
One or two Stock Antec 120mm

I'm not sure if i should get two or one of each of these and what voltage i should run them at 12, 7, or 5.

I know this is a popular overclock and set up, so i was looking with for people running at 3.5 in antec sonata cases to share their set ups, or any advice on the subject.

Basically i want it to be cool, and fairly quiet (doesn't have to be silent)

My last computer [email protected] had 7 80mm sunons (inlcuding the cpuand PS fans) so preferably a lot quieter than it
