Good oc'ing mATX mb?

Post by Blito » Fri Sep 03, 2004 8:16 pm

Hey, I was planing a sff pc, but I can't find any good matx mb. All I see seems to be either budget parts with integrated video, or designed for htpcs without vcore&fsb adjusments. Is there anything good on nforce2, kt600 or kt880?

Thanks a bunch

I have never used one but the "farmers" down in the Folding@Home forum had quite a lot about the Biostar M7NCG 400. It is an nForce2 mATX board with lots of adjustments. Just avoid the Version 7 one, it lacks the adjustments. Version 7.2 seeems to be the current one.

See if you can find anything about the Soltek SL-75MIV2. I saw something about it undervolting so it should have the ability to overclock. I could not find a vendor for it here in the states when I did a quick search.

Also, the EPOX EP-8RGM3I has full OC capabilities. I have one running in my HTPC with an XP-M @ 2400MHZ.

I'm loving my SL-75MIV2-L. Only minor gripe is that a 80x25 fan won't easily fit on a DP-102 (with fan next to DIMMs).
Check out my post here for the adjustment options.
