Pics are nice...now how about some thoughts about your rig.

Numbers would be nice too! :)

I'm currently looking at either:
  • Sonata
    SLK3700
    1080AMG
Can't make up my mind.
TIA,

Googlie

Good board!

What type of numbers are you talking about?

Temperatures.

Also, have you added a front fan on the HD cage?

Thanks,

I have updated the pictures and now have the slk-9000 pics up. The cpu runs at 35 C during the whole sandra si-soft burn in test.

Great - looks really good and the temps sound like what I am looking for.

I'm not sure I'll do the SLK-900u or not, was kind of thinking a Zalman 7000 (my brother has one on his P4pE /2.53 rig) and it's rather, shall we say - impressive. 8)

What would you say is the loudest part of your setup?

Thanks for the info - it's getting pretty close to shopping time!

I am not really sure what the loudest part is. It is VERY quiet. Sitting two feet away from the comp all I can hear is some airflow noise from the fan. I have an air pureifier in my room and with it on low you cant even hear the computer is on. With it off (the pureifier) you cant tell the computer is on if you stand up and walk around at all.

Hope this helps,
Ted

Use the [img] [/img] tags

Hello Ted:

You can use the image tags an have your pictures appear right in these pages. If they don't work in your browser (they only seem to work in IE for me), then maually type {img} before and {/img} after the image but use the square brackets rather than the curly ones.
