Redid my desk - Yay or Nay
I redid my desk to utilize the full(er) potential of my two desks:
Before:
After:
Y/N?

It depends on what context. The second is better for your own working space. I love having a desk that goes around me (too bad I don't have the space for it). But it looks like there's space in front of the left desk (between the desk and the lamp). That's difficult-to-utilize space there. So the first one appears more optimal from a floor space perspective, the second one appears to be better for more personal working space.

Definitely the wraparound style.
A question though: Are you right or left handed? If you're right handed, you might find it working even better if you put the wrapped desk to the right of your main computer. Then you only have to turn a little bit to write or make use of the open desk to your right. If you're left handed, ignore my comments, it probably works fine already.

Agreed. As a lefty, I would much prefer your setup, so you might want to swap it if you can. It looks like a left-handed kitchen to me (yes, they exist; there are lots of things designed for a particular hand type that you'd never know about if you weren't left-handed )Zyzzyx wrote:Perhaps then... leave the desks as they are, but move the main computer to the left desk. Try it, ya might like it.
But I vote for the new arrangement.
