All about them.

Mobiles: 2400+ 35W or 2600+ 45W?

Right now I have just a normal, desktop, locked 2500+ Barton. I run it at default speeds, 1.8 ghz, 333 fsb, but I have the voltage dropped to 1.35v from the stock 1.65. I have the SI-97 on top of it with AS Ceramique and a Nexus 120mm fan blowing down on it at 7v. I idle around 38-40C and at load 44-46C.

I want a processor that'll bring me up to 400fsb to take full advantage of my PC3200 ram, and hopefully give me 3200+ speeds (2.2 ghz), but without bringing my temps way high. If I OC my current 2500+ to 3200+ speeds, I have to bring the voltage up to 1.8v and my case fans/cpu fan all to 12V just to idle around 46C, and load around 50C. If I keep my fans undervolted then I'll idle in the upper 50's :(

My question is, what is going to be easier to OC, I just want 400fsb and 2.2ghz, and keep cooler, hopefully low to mid 40's idle with my Nexus 120mm at 7v, the 2400+, 35w mobile AMD, or the 2600+, 45w mobile AMD?

another question, if I were to run a 2400+ or 2600+ at 2.2ghz and 1.6V, like I've read a lot of people doing, can I expect temps to be the same as my desktop 2500+ barton at 1.6v?

Given the same voltage and frequency, the temperature will be the same.
