btw, who was it that made the client a service? I'd like to hear more about that, if I could get a good set up I might be able to harness a good deal of untapped power in my parents office (think 10+ computers on 24/7, spending most of their time on the login screen)

Looks like our time to overtake the 100 spot was moved up to 4:00 am on May 1. Only four hours away from our goal!

You can find a good guide here to setting it up as a service:

woohoo ... my work laptop is scheduled to crank out its weekly WU early tomorrow ... that may bump things up a little (not much I know, but I can still be excited)

LOL, my work laptop is cranking away too. Isn't that like cruelty to animals?

BTW, we moved again to 3am instead of 4 am. Pour it on!

That's an illusion - in all honesty 3 is my limit if I included the work laptop, XP2700, Thunderbird 1.4 and I have retired the laptop as it took 4 days for 1 WU (supposed to be a 1.2GHz P3 but can't pull the skin off a milk pudding! Like miker says, cruelty to animals!) and I can't guarantee it is always close to the internet.

And while I got ahead of you briefly, my damn 1.4 just spent 3 days waiting to report while I was away from home, so I seem to have slipped back! And now both mine are running on 1250 iteration jobs - not sure I'll report again before the 2nd!

OK. I'll admit I'm watching the stats like a junky now. We're now on track to take the top 100 at midnight tonight! :!: Talking about hitting your goal just in time.

As mentioned before by tragus, this link tells the tale. http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/f ... 11756.html

So once we get in the top 100 do we get a detailed team page on forums.extremeoverclocking.com/folding/ ?

Then we could get even more stats that tell us how much butt we're kicking!

You like that face a little too much.

My laptop finished its week of grunting and straining to pump out a whopping 19 point WU! ... :?

Right now we are 50 points from beating SMSU and getting to 100 on http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/folding/. One oddity, have a look at the difference in work units - to get the same amount of points, they have done 3000 more work units than us, the team 600 points behind us has done 15000 more work units than us.

I think it has to do with gromac folding. If you check our own team stats, some people with higher WU numbers have lower scores (me) than some people with lower WU totals and higher scores ( )

More so, if you happen to get either 656 or 657, the 146 point projects.

I was looking at some more stats pages, we don't have one yet :( . But guess what! we will pass the team currently in 75th place, folding@malaysia, relatively soon! Oct 21, 2004 to be exact! :) gained 50 whole points on them today.
