Athlon XP 1800+ & Asus A7V8X-X undervolting problems

Post by ceraf » Tue Jun 07, 2005 1:47 pm

I used the L11 bridge cutting method to undervolt my default 1.5V (C:::C) to 1.1V (::::C). For some reason, it locked my multiplier at 11x, and detects the processor as a 1700+.

Also, I can't increase the voltage past 1.3V, even with the OVERvolt jumper option on my Asus A7V8X-X motherboard.

Anyone have any info on this?

Is this the type of thing you are talking about? Which version of the CPU do you have? Thoroughbred? What is the part number on your CPU?
