[QUESTION] Power consumption of the Athlon 64 X2?
Does anyone has good info on Athlon 64 X2's power consumption? (not TDP )
So far I've only found data for the 4800+ and 4200+, but they weren't as informative as I'd like

24 W idle and 86 W load for a 4800+, which gives
22 W idle and 79 W load for a 4200+ (not compensating for less cache).

Xbitlabs and Anandtech had those from memory... xbitlabs being the more comprehensive review from memory. I would imagine the X2's would idle something like 20W with CnQ enabled going on those numbers, unless the second core can be shut down completely, in which case they'd be similar to single core wattages.

Cool 'n' Quiet will work on a whole chip basis, rather than each individual core, so if you load one core, both cores will increase their clock speed to reflect the additional load placed on the CPU.
