high-power PSU tested by C't

The german magazine C't tested high-power supplies in the issue 17/05.
I'd like to present you the PSU which scored over 75% efficiency at 20% load and over 80% efficiency at 50% load at 240V AC.

The Seasonic is by far the most silent at 100% load.

Unfortunately, I could not find the review online (not that I read German but I wanted to glance at the figures).

According to some tests, it would be quite a challenge to achieve 100% load in a non-SLI system seehere, a Seasonic S12-430 only needed to supply 214W to a high-end P4 system running PCMark04).

So I would be more interested in efficiency and noise figures at the 20-50% range.

Also, according to this article, most of the power is drawn from the +12V rails, so I'd also be interested in the power distribution between rails.

Since SLI is not really interesting to SPCR I left out the 100% figures
The C't is a first of all printed magazine but you are able to buy the articles online.
There are no additional figures about efficiency or power distribution. But i scanned the noise figures available here. The noise level is in sone, the transparent columns are with fan speeds set to highest level.

The C't is a first of all printed magazine but you are able to buy the articles online.

Since I don't read German anyway, I'll pass.

There are no additional figures about efficiency or power distribution. But i scanned the noise figures available here. The noise level is in sone, the transparent columns are with fan speeds set to highest level.

Which says to me that nothing C't tested beats the S12-500 at 50% load (and it was practically silent at 20%). Nice!

I just hope that the annoying incompatibility with DFI will be solved soon...
