I have a Sunrise picture that I had Taken from the Bunker at Launch Complex 13, Cape Canaveral FL May 2004, while I was there working on the restoration of Complex 14. ( LC14 Where all the Mercury Launches were from).

I have been using this for the past 3 years. Reaching a point now where I'm goign to have to replace it when I can see the entire picture on my screen.

I used to change my desktop about once a month using pictures from the various armed forces websites, and airliners.net.

I have had a number of ones I liked including

http://lazyeights.net/Avion/UH-60_Refue ... _Large.jpg

That was until I found this wallpaper on the NASA website.

It's nice, simple, neutral and works well.

It's generally just some cool picture, or a premade wallpaper.
The catch is that I never have it full size. I find one maybe half as wide so I can have my icons and IM window alongthe sides not blocking it. It also has to be fairly dark, and able to blend into the black background around it.
