There was mention of SPCR making new contacts at the Intel conference this Spring. What of Intel's Advanced Liquid Cooling Technology?

My search of SPCR's site and this forum came up empty when I used the subject line of this post.

I didn't attend the session. It's well covered by the other sites you linked anyway.

It's hard for me to get excited about something like this: It will not help make PCs get any quieter, and until the product is on the market, I have no idea what it can really do. The product looks like it's designed to handle extremely hot CPUs, and at least for the near future, CPU thermals are actually coming down. So how useful will this be? I think it's too little too late.

I'll be happy to take a look when/if it makes it to market, but I don't have high hopes. There are NO WC systems I've heard that I'd be happy with -- except maybe fanless devices like the Zalman reserator, but even that, imo, is a stretch with the big external tower.
