Geez TRC - what have you been feeding your systems? 1044 points in the past 24 hours!! Scary stuff.
I feel an urge to upgrade something
So at my local computer fair today took a punt on an XP1800 to replace my 1.4G Thunderbird. (well it was a good price, it is the 1.5V Tbred B, and comes from close to the center of the wafer so allegedly a good o/cer) Anyway, turns out the KT133 mobo I put it in won't recognize it properly as 11.5 * 133, but defaults it to 12.5 * 133 (=XP2000) which it is folding at happily (at 1.5V). Figure I can justify this one on the reduced eletricity bill :)

And while I was at it got an even cheaper psu to strip the fan from: this one doesn't have PFC and is absolutely silent (since I got the fan on the shelf). I think I have found my ideal psu!!

On the plus side, we no longer have any threats! I think we're just coming on strong, though. With most of us having silent systems, folding 24/7 isn't really a burden for most of us. It's not like we've been putting up with howling fans until we reached a certain WU total. For most, if our computers fold tomorrow, it will make no difference. I predict we will pass them at some point.

WTF! (Way to fold) Keep it up.

Now I have to concentrate on regaining no 1 spot
My farm got knocked off-line this weekend due to some power outages, so it was idle most of the weekend :(

I feed my puters electrons just like everyone else  And maybe a little TLC to keep them quiet. 8)

Oh it was a foregone conclusion I think that he would pass me. It just wasn't supposed to happen that early

Right now, I'm in stat limbo: no future conquests and no threats, either. :?
