Are brushless 80mm Adda fans crap?

Post by frosty » Wed Jul 09, 2003 12:26 pm

I replaced the fans in my pc with panflo 80L's and noticed the ones I pulled out of the front grill and psu are Adda's brushless - are they total crap fans or usable as cooling fans cooling graphics card or to run over my hard drive for extra cooling until I can get more panflo's?

:?

Adda make some very nice fans, but you may have the M or H model, which like Panaflo M & H are noisier than L.

Thanx for the info so I guess unless they are lx or dx then I may be better off in the end with Panflo's :)

If it helps at all then the fans that came out of my PC-7 were the LX's.

Yes I thouhgt about if it is really only running or putting out 22 or 28 db of using one of them on my cpu which I think is putting out over 34 db but I don't have the intestinal fortitude to risk the heat.
