USB PCI card w/internal pin connections

Post by Bluefront » Tue Jan 23, 2007 4:17 am

There was a post on this subject a while back.....here's a Syba card with two sets of double internal pin connections, plus an internal std USB connector......not to mention it also has firewire ports. Cheap....mine works ok.

Stuff like headers for front panel USB connections (some older systems have USB 1.1 headers or none at all) or vacuum fluorescent displays.

Apparently.....chipsets only support a certain number of USB ports. My Intel 865 supports eight. The board has six external ports.....but only one internal header. I needed one internal header for my front external USB ports, but I also have a card reader that needs a pin-type connection, and I'm considering another device that needs a pin connection.

This card solves all those problems.....allows me to keep all the cables internal for a cleaner install. :D
