What software to convert to PDF

Post by autoboy » Mon Jan 29, 2007 3:49 pm

Hi,

My office wants to buy adobe acrobat to convert files to pdf. There has to be a better way. Right now I use Foxit Reader which is much better than adobe reader and I was wondering what the best method for converting to pdf is.

I've used PrimoPDF in the past, mainly for filing accounts online. It installs as a printer driver and you can just print to PDF from whatever application you're using.

OpenOffice allows you to save documents as PDF, so does MS Office 2007 I believe (with a free add-in you can get from Microsoft).

Open Office did not open the word documents properly so the PDF was not right. We don't have Office 2007. I'll check out PrimoPDF. Thanks

I also use this, and I have installed it in all of the machines at work too. It's a winner, and it is "cheap" like the budgy.
