p180 and Antec 900.

Both have power supplies on the bottom and both no matter how hard you try are difficult and a pain in the arse for people like me who build pcs for a living to WIRE neatly.. grrr

Sorry to hear that...

I'm just not sure what that has to do with this discussion, or the off-topic question posed.

Hmmm.

It was in reference to his wiring in the case. He asked how it looks and the p180 and 900 are two of the hardest cases to wire up neatly especially when you start adding all the hardware into the mess.

Ok got it.

When you are replying to a question posed several posts back, it's a good idea to quote the original question so people know what you're talking about. I may have been the only one who didn't get that, but it's still worth mentioning.

If anyone wants to see the true heat and temperatures of this particular mobo to get a rough idea for all mobos, check out this link my friend gave me:
http://www.bigbruin.com/reviews05/nf4therm...ndex.php?file=1
For a very short period of time, I do not have any cooling on my North Bridge whatsoever and it's 75C steady. My CMOS and System Clock reset and my PC took two pushes of the power button to make my fans spin. ;)
I'M A DONKEY ON THE EDGE!

@SD-Plissken - Not sure just yet, and yes of course... don't be silly.

Hey guys, all is well. I put rubber things between my case and the rear fan and picked up a new
Vantec Iceberg 4 Pro, which is technically a VGA cooler but with some modding it can be a great
chipset cooler. For now I used two brackets it came with to put the Iceberg CCB-A1C back on.
North Bridge is 45C again... as opposed to 75C.

Here are two pics comparing the two:

Here's a pic of the VI4Pro without the top cover on. I'll be cutting off the two ends, polishing the
edges and slightly widening the two smaller holes closest to the fan to allow it fit on my chipset
properly. That'll be fun.

I think you should pass all your cables through the slot that is nearer to case front so they would go up over the motherboard tray just by the side of motherboard.
You can put all them orderly going up and fix them with some adhesive there; some kind of contact cement or easier (but maybe too weak a bond) double sided foam tape.
I think you can include there the power cable for DVD drive.

You could even make a kind of shroud for most of your cables here.

Thanks, but I think the cables are fine at this point. I realize it's been ages since I've updated this with anything even though I do have the new collets to finish the cutting and polishing, though it's really loud cutting aluminum and I don't seem to have the motivation. It was nice back in the beginning when I practically had people cheering me on. I'd like a side window and to cut a spot in the bottom front for a fan to cool my HDDs more but I just don't feel like it right now. :(
