The hard disk in the MacBook Pro is rated at 2.4 bels idle

More popular than ever, but some are still very noisy.

The hard disk in the MacBook Pro is rated at 2.4 bels idle

According to [ http://www.macintouch.com/reviews/macbo ... ofile.html ], the 2.5 inch hard disk drive in the MacBook Pro released June 05, 2007, is the Fujitsu MHW2120BH. My concern about this drive is that according to the device's PDF specifications, linked from Fujitsu's Web site, the drive is listed with a decibel rating of 24 (idle).

2.4 bels idle seems high for even a 3.5 inch desktop hard disk drive, but for a 2.5 inch notebook drive I would expect a nice low rating around 2.0 bels.

This drive is 120 GB and 5400 rpm.

Any opinions on this? I've read a review of this model of MacBook Pro and it says it's not audible, but, you know, this kind of thing is rather subjective.
