Problems with Windows SMP client

Post by mexell » Mon Jul 16, 2007 3:46 am

Hi all,

I just started folding with a small file server (X2 3600). I wanted to use the Windows SMP client with Windows 2003 Server R2, but it didn't work. When starting the worker threads, it said something like "Error 63" (or was it 68? dunno.) Then it tried to get the WU again, but the same error. Am I doing something wrong?

Btw, atm I'm using the non-SMP client to contribute at least something :D

Hi!

I'm not sure about your error. But here are some things which can be a problem with the SMP Client.
Did you run the install.bat? Did it show those lines at the end twice?
Do you have admin rights? Does your account have a password?

I just checked the folding forum. Here is a thread about error 63. I didn't have time to read but have a look. Maybe there is a solution.
