SLK-900-A

A new version of the SLK-900.

Nothing revolutionary, they just changed the shape a little bit, so that it fits more motherboards.

Sweet !! Now there's an SLK-900 that has the classic clip style retention mechinism that will work with my Tualatin MOBO !! :D
Now the only question is, do I want to fork over the change for the upgrade from an SLK 800-A :?:

I wouldn't. I mean, I know its better, but is it really that much better?
Also, I still haven't found a 92mm fan that I would rather use than an 80mm L1A.

Yeah, that's a good point. However, I think my SLK-800 isn't what it used to be. My hypothesis is that because I've taken it on and off so many times (we won't get into why) the clip has somehow bent out a bit and therefore it isn't pushing down as hard onto the CPU. I've wondered if I should try and bend the clip a bit up to gain a bit of the pressure back. Hmmm.

That's what I did to my old Zalman 6000, it worked wonders. Then I switched to bolt-on HSF :)
