OH NO!!! help me the update is 5 minutes overdue, I don't think I can make it much longer!
and immediately afterwards my wish is granted
btw....
We've hit 36th!!1111!!!
oh yeah, and sorry for kicking you out of the top 10 rusty.... its pains me to do so to such a dedicated and insane silencer! or something kind of like that.
okay so I'm really just filled with an evil pleasure as I move up in the ranks

yeah I suppose that is an important difference.
actually I hope you do pass me, because if you pass me while I'm getting 3k+ points a week (and both my farm and my main machine has been down all week) that means you've got to be doing some great production. It'll bring us a little closer to yellow...

we now have a recordbreaking 8090 ppd, and rising!!
It seems production has picked up for all our bigger folders suddenly.
Bkh > 1000 ppd.. I think in the next update he'll be red. He is now #62 on the list of most producing users.
Go bkh! KWSN-Milleniumknight is only producing 2.5 times more then you, you can make that!

No chance, Wrah. The high score was just a coincidence -- a whole bunch of 70 point tinkers finished yesterday. Most of the machines that I can use for folding are running Linux Red Hat v9, which has a bug that causes Gromacs to die just before submitting a completed run, so Gromacs are all 0-points for me. (I have a couple of windows boxes running Gromacs though.)
My cpus will each generate about 12 points per day until Red Hat's next production release, for an average total of about 600 points per day. And when I'm ready to launch the next big round of simulations, my total daily output will drop to about 150.
But it looks like mjrusso45 and TRC-13 will continue running hard, with notable help from the rest of the top 20, and upcomers like Charliechan.
But in aggregate, most of our team's points come from the folks running one or two cpus. They are essential to our team's move up, and we could really use more folks like them.

If it is the Barton 333 FSB chip I have a few of those and have no problem whatsoever overclocking them to 2800+ and I am able to do so with CPU temps around 105°F. Just bump the multiplier up to 12.5 and the VCore to 1.725V. They are stable as hell. You will need something other than the stock AMD fan but you most likely have something a lot quieter. I noticed an increase in folding speeds on those machines.DryFire wrote:I'm getting a new 2500+ and some lower latency ram. So maybe we'll move up a bit faster

New daily point record
Hello:
As a team, we made a new daily point record:
8,645.13
Impressive. Our weekly total is also at record levels with 55,279.63 points in the last week! At out present rate, we will have settled at the #26 spot by the end of this year -- so obviously, our meteoric climb is slowing a bit. BUT, if we can get more ACTIVE members (we currently have 84 out of 172...) then we may well go higher!
Keep up the good work, team!
