$52.00 on newegg...

God only knows how low that thing's clocked at. Keep in mind that since it's an OEM part it can go way, way down. A certain manufacturer runs their FX5200s at 250/180 - like they weren't neutered enough already.

It could be the Radeon 9200SE, an OEM-directed, underclocked version of the 9200 that was introduced by ATI a month or two ago.

I'm quite certain that the card cannot be oced b/c ATI locked the internal clock settings of the Radeon 9200 series video chipsets.

There are plenty of software apps to overcome the locked bios' on Ati cards. Rivatuner is my personal favorite.

But then again, why would you want to oc a Radeon 9200? For an extra 5 fps? If performance means that much to a buyer, then he/she should not even be looking at a card based on the Radeon 9200. I personally bought the Sapphire Radeon 9200 so that I could run it fanless (without modding) without any stability worries.

True, if 3D performance is at all important the 9600 is the better balance between price/performance/quiet
