Post by bandittm » Mon Oct 06, 2008 9:50 am

Have startet work on changing my Fan in The ARia psu, BUT my Mist fan would not turn (7-12v), i checked the voltage the old fan got and it was 5v.

Does anybody have an idea of what fan i can get???

I installed a Noctua in mine and ran the 3-wire power out of the power supply to the mobo fan header.

Ahh, brilliant, i guess that the way to do it. Have read about alot of people changing that fan, i guess they all did that trick........

Thx alot.....i guess that way i can connect a fan controller also....

Edit: If i turn the fan down too much, what happens? The PSU will be too hot ofcourse, but will it turn off or will there be disaster??
