i'm looking to replace my HTPC case, right now i'm using the Antec Aria, and i would like to replace it for a Antec Minuet, Fusion, Fusion Remote or NSK2480, as long as i'm not forced to use low-profile brackets...

note that i live in Montreal, Quebec, so if you want to give me links to US web stores, they might charge big $ for shipping, or they just don't ship to Canada.

the NSK2480 look good enough for a HTPC, while being not very expensive, AND using 120mm case fans and standard-size power supply.

The case can be used too, and without a power supply (i still have my unused Seasonic S12 430W here, would be perfect for that case).

The NSK2480 is a good choice. Adequate cooling for most system. I know yamahaSHO has a couple Fusions that he's done, so check out his posts too, as most of that carries to the 2480 as well.

compared to any, i could buy a Sonata 3 for less than the price the Fusions are being sold...

Well the Sonata 3 is not a media case.

The fascia is made up of specialized components (control knob, front buttons, IR Remote/receiver) that have a high cost due to low volume. They add a significant portion to the cost. Also, since they are fairly unique products (HTPC cases, that is) they get a higher upcharge than a typical ATX case.

There are other options, but they will cost your more. Antec has the benefit of lower cost due to volume.

well the NSK2480 seem to be good, if someone have one used, i would like to trade for it, but the shipping would cost like over 30-40$, so...i would like it to be within or nearby Montreal...

i do have some stuff for trade, like an Asus 7600GT Silent 256mb or Asus 8600GTS Silent 256mb. (both PCIe)
