Here is my dilemna, I can't upload anything from my Vista computer to either a NAS or another machine on the network, very fast (90-100kb). All my other machines which are OSX and Mandriva are able to get 3MBS upload. All my machines are hooked up wirelessly. There was a point where it would freeze the computer if I tried to do any uploading to the NAS or other computers on the network. I can download as fast as all the other machines in my house and the internet works great. Here are the specs of my vista machine
P5Q-EM Do mobo
Q9400
8GB Ram
9800gtx+
It's a fairly recent install and complete update of vista 64bit home premium.
wireless adapter is MSI PC60G box says it's XP 64bit and WPA2 compliant. It doesn't say anything about being vista ready or certified. Could it be that I might need a new wireless adapter?

Hi jimbonewbie,
Hm.. Interesting. There could be a lot going on here that could cause this.
So your Vista computer can download from the Internet etc. faster than the 90-100kb it gets when transferring to the NAS?
Could be a Windows firewall?
Could be the way the wireless network is set up (adhoc vs. infrastructure)?
What's the cpu usage like on the Windows box when you are transferring?
Need a few more hints I think.
