Months of planning before deciding on hardware to use for the build. Interior spray painted case. No Stock heat sinks anywhere. Custom spray painted gold I/o back side and pci parts. Black spray paint for some pci parts for black pcb.

Time to make this? Over a month.
How much I spent? Too embarrassing to say, you do the math.
Why it's called it PITA? It was PITA during installation, that's why.

Due to extreme temperatures of the GPU in a Home theater cabinet under load, I had to scrap the whole passive GPU

In order to make room, I moved the Tv tuner card to a different location. In the images as you can see, the fan barely even fits when a HR-05 IFX sli is right next to it and the fan clips barely arced over the Wi-Fi card. I honestly think Thermalright made their IFXs too damn big, why discontinue the more compatible regular HR-05.

Very nice indeed. I really like the silver and black look, even if it does make the pics look a little dark.

A great combination of a lot of Thermalright heatsinks.

Man, you really love the Thermalright stuff. They ought to hire you to make some computer's where they could show their stuff to audience and such. That is one beautiful computer. Just like your previous tower was ^^

Sorry man, I cant find decent 135mm fans anywhere. I would have done that long ago. You shoulda check out SPCR's review on the unit, it has some right remarks on noise levels.

This and the other thermalright case you made are very nice. Good job on this one. Now I have to go find a HR-03 GT for my 4850 for a good price since my HR-01 Plus is lonely.

Do yourself a favor and buy a HR-03 r600, you will save around $30 for a identical item. Don't worry, the precut die on the r600 heatsink fits fine on 4850 cores

Thanks a lot! I will get that then. I had no idea that it would fit.

Looks really well done, although I don't know if it's my monitor or your post-processing but all I can really see is inky blackness interspersed with shiny heatsinks!

That is quite possibly the neatest PC install I have ever seen.

Love the colour scheme btw.

Also love all the Thermalright stuff I think it looks very clean and neat and it must be pretty silent due to only haveing a couple of fans.

Looks just lovely. I would loved to have built it myself if I would have the money.

But I got to ask about the temperatures. How are they? Hot but stable? Cool or Temperate?

You shot some AWESOME photos, I must say. Beautiful build; all black and shiny nickel. Too bad the images appear sporadicly...
I'll certainly keep an eye out for this thread!

Well I am short on words today, but I can honestly say awesome job on the build and I am jealous as all hell.

I should post my build sometime in the gallery, once it all comes together.

Maybe I should nominate you for the million-dollar-PC website. The cases posted there are just as slick as yours...

That would be great but I don't think they will let me in because of my background image lol

I need to retake my images before attempt such thing but right now, I got a Statistics Math Final comming in 2 days that I need to worry about. It's more of a PITA compare to this build. lol

That is one sharp looking rig. I couldn't think of a single nitpicking remark.

Good thing you posted less "artsy" pictures. It gives a good view of what's inside the case.

BTW, how does that backplate cooler work on your video card? It doesn't make contact with the chips heatspreader, so I don't think it really helps removing the heat...

This review will explain it much better than I could. It help but not a whole lot when active cooling is there. If passive, then it becomes a different story.
