Hi,
After alot of research, here and everywhere else, it appears like the only really (almost) silent keyboard is the Thanko Silent Keyboard (2).
I am not counting the rubber ones or the laser keyboard since they appear to be pretty bad to type on.
Sadly, the thanko keyboard seems to be discontinued, atleast outside Japan. Anyone have an idea about where I could find one? Ebay and other shopping sites has not proved to be of much help.
And if you dont know where to find this keyboard, is there something similar on the market at all? That is, a _real_ keyboard, focused on being silent.
And no, I dont want suggestions for Logitech Ultra X, Apple keyboard, laptop-like keyboard etc etc. Those are only silent compared to noisy keyboards... I am talking about finding a _truly_ silent keyboard. Where the keys themselves dont make any noise. So the only noise would come from actually hitting the keys.
Thanks for any help.

If you want a completely silent keyboard you would have to go for one of the touch models, such as
http://www.rsi-shop.co.uk/products/mosk ... se-usb.asp
Incidentally as standard this does emit a 'click' sound when keys are touched, but you can turn the sound off. With sound off a light will flash instead.
There is a user manual for this keyboard at
http://www.volamp.com/Moskey/MoskeyManual329.pdf
There is more information from the manufacturer here http://www.volamp.com/Moskey/Datashet.htm
