hey everyone... i completed this sometime ago:

she's quiet. her specs are:
Via Epia 800
256MB
80GB Seagate Barracuda V
Integrated Belkin Wireless Router/Four port Switch

I'll be adding a 120GB Barracuda V sometime soon. There are two fans in the case... I've replaced the processor fan with something I got off a P4 heatsink, and I've 5volted it. There's an intake fan that I snatched from a stock AMD hsf (they had to be good for something...)

mylilani is the center of my network, and she's basically a server for my music, movies and downloads.

here's the worklog and a gallery

questions, comments? :)

and yes, she folds. at 6hours 30mins a frame.

Creative, which probably is an understatement! Are all those bolts 'just' for show?

This is very nice.

I have a few questions:

what are your hdd temperatures like ??

and why did you have to operate on the motherboard ?

thanks guys :)

about half of the bolts actually hold everything together, and another half is just to make it look good. i never intended to use bolts, but after having some expoxies failing on me, i thought, well, might as well make her look good.

the hdd runs pretty cool, its barely warm, the amd intake fan blows right over it. the top of the case gets warm after about a week or so, there's hardly any airflow there, but she's running reliably.

i removed the parrallel port because i was internalizing a vfd i had, it hooks up to the parrallel port, and i didn't want anyone connecting a printer or something to it by mistake.

It looks nice. Even better that it's folding.

Nice. Is there a story behind the broken fan blade?

other than the fact i had no idea how it happened, or how it snuck in the pics without me noticing... nope. i just replaced the fan later on... its a 5volted 60mm delta. oh, um, this would the third fan in the case.
