I'm looking for a new pc and the main criteria is that it should be quiet.
Found a site where they sell fanless pcs. Its called 'silentmaxx'.
Are they any good?
And if so what configuration should I get?
I'm not a gamer but I do some audio stuff, mostly editing and I'm very impatient.

The standard configuration would be:
2.8GHz Core2Duo E7400
2GB DDR2 RAM
intel X4500 onBoard

But I'D like to upgrade the RAM to 4GB. Is it worth it? The graphics card would be upgraded to a Geforce 9400GT (Theres also a 9600GT availible, but its more expansive) mainly for HD video. And should I update the processor to 3.0GHz E8400?

The company has been around for a while, nearly a decade. Used to offer fanless PSUs -- not very reliable, at least the first ones, but probably improved as suppliers got better. ( like this -- http://www.silentpcreview.com/article312-page1.html )

If they're using good components in a well ventilated case or direct heat conduction to the case (using heatpipes), then the systems should be fine. But I'd opt for lower power components in a fanless build. Less heat, less potential for trouble.

Not sure if I want to order from that site. I think I could get more value if I order the components seperatly and build my own silent PC (doesn't need to be completely fanless, just quiet).
Could someone recommend me some components?
