no one seem to have mentioned Lockheed and cordis, both with frightening production levels.

although i am new myself, welcome to the team!

Thanks, I appreciate that. I'm almost done with a round of hardware upgrades that should get my production up a little higher, but after that it will be a couple of months before any more big jumps. Although some software tweaks may help.

As you all discovered we tend to overlook that we have a welcome mat here. Nevertheless you are all still most welcome.

Glad to be back!
I figured my file server was on 24/7 anyway, might as well contribute.

Hi

Someone noticed :) unfortunately it will be short lived, work will be a prohibiting factor in about 2 weeks time.

Fun to watch the rank go up on the list in the beginning

I like even if it is a bit conservative when it comes to ppd calculation.

Hey, thanks Thorsted. For everything.

I didn't know about that website. The DefCon settings are quite funny.

It says I am at DefCon 2 concerning Cordis. No actually I have already surrendered to Cordis. I am not armed for such a battle.

It also says I am at DefCon 5 with cd8uk, well of course there is peace there, I have already been defeated. All I can do now is make funny faces.

I started folding for the first time ever last week for the good old SPCR team now that I finally have a modern CPU. I hope this bumps us up. :) I leave it running almost 24/7 only taking breaks to game now and then.

Yes, welcome ZodaEX!!! Be sure to let us know if you have any questions, it looks like you're currently running a single uniprocessor client, if you want any info about running SMP, just let us know, always happy to help!

I signed up to fold, both in hopes of making the world better and heating up the rather chilly workspace during the winter months.

CPU has so far reached just 43 °C compared to its usual 28-30, and system responsiveness has not suffered one bit. My heavy CAT tool does save big project files (more like a container for dozens of small files) a little slower, so I guess there is some disc or memory I/O going on.
