XICE: passive watercooling?

Post by Evo » Wed Sep 10, 2003 3:31 am

Has anybody heard of this company, or tested their watercooling kit? Its designed to be silent, and it doesn't need a fan.
They have GPU blocks and P4/AMD CPU blocks.

Here's a small pic of how it works:

A few links:
the German Silentmaxx website
Xice website
test of the waterblocks at Bit Tech

I couldn't find any reviews on their 'ExternalCool', maybe someone has any experience with it?

Found this review for the Xice EC600/H passive radiator. Looks like a pretty good design.

I designed and built a passive radiator watercooling system myself http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?t=7577

Evo,

I have read reviews on normal watercooling kits tried without a radiator fan, and the temperatures were between 5 and 10 degrees higher than usual, which was around 40C in their setup. So it doesn't sound too difficult to achieve.
