Newbie question: water cooling systems

Post by chylld » Fri Oct 17, 2003 5:21 am

Gday y'all, sorry for sounding like a newbie, but.. why aren't there any reviews or threads dedicated to the water cooling systems out there? Like the one from Innovatek?

I've read up on a couple and would really like to see how well watercooling systems compare with air-cooled systems, especially given the higher cost and risk.

Most kits tend to do pretty poorly.

A properly designed watercooler, such as my set up, can be nearly to completely silent, while being heavily overclocked.

The problem of course is cost; I've spent at least $400 on my cooler set up, not even counting the case ($150) I'm fitting it in, and the dremel ($80) to get the radiator to fit right.

And $3.00 for Band-Aids
