Today I made a rig for a friend in a CM 690II.
Totally 11 fans... Blasphemy :)

Intake:
2x Noctua NF-D14(side pannel)
1x CM 690 II stock fan (front)
Exhaust:
2x Noctua NF-S12-1200(top)
1X CM690 II stock fan(back)
CPU:
1X Noctua NF-P12
VGA:
3x 92mm (Accelero 4870X2)
PSU:
Cougar S700

I told him that the rig, will take off and fly but didn't listened and said:
Put them all!!!
I did and left him to live, with his Helicopter...

Why bother spending so much on Noctua fans when you're not aiming for quiet computing? That's gotta be over $120 of Noctua fans right there. Though tbh, I can understand three fans for the Accelero Xtreme, since it would still be quieter than stock, and you can slow down the fans.
Though, judging from the front case fan, your friend doesn't care too much about noise, be it visual or aural.

Yes... are S12-1200(the old ones). I have not been paying attention when I wrote and I was wrong...

 Wow, what a waste money I can't for the life me understand why someone would need more then two slient 120mm or 140mm fans for proper airflow. Why did he choose a non-name brand power supply that's going bite him on the ass sooner or later.

First time I've heard of it but I would've gone Corsair, Seasonic but as long he is happy with it I'm extremely picky and won't run things that aren't SPCR recommended. My ears thank me for it all the time :D .

Neither Noctua NH-D14 is not yet recommended by SPCR and I still have far better temperatures with him than the Ninja and still remain the best air cooler on the market beating up giants like Ninja A/B/2 and Z600 in fanless zone and TRUE and Prolima on high airflow zone...

L.E.: In fact IT IS... my mistake..

I have Nocta,TRUE myself but avoid the NH-D14 as it's far to large to fit into most setups. I'm not the expermentive type so I let SPCR do the work first.
