Engelking AP2-6300SFC-A
I was browsing through SiliconAcoustics a few minutes ago and I noticed that they carry a new PS that I've never heard of: the Engelking AP2-6300SFC-A. Supposedly, this baby can run fanless until 45 degrees Celsius. Does anyone have any input on this PS?
BTW, is the GoldenField PS going to be reviewed at SPCR? With it's giant 120mm internal fan, it looks like a very good contender (and its like 30 buck U.S. too! ).

Anyone got any links to this GoldField power supply?
I found this one, but I'd like to see more.
Thanks!

I've seen pics of it like everyone else. I suspect it might be coming from Fortron or similar -- AOpen also has similar looking ones, and a couple other brands have them too. No one has responded positively about sending me one.
You can always contact manufacturers directly and suggest they contact me to submit review samples. Sometimes they respond better to 3rd party requests. SPCR is basically the only seriously noise-focused PC hardware review site around.
With these 120mm fan PSUs, the question as usual is how good is the fan and how intelligently controlled is its speed. With the fan being right next to or over the CPU, I expect the PSU may get hotter than with the fan mounted on the back panel.

PSU review
I have seen a review of this power supply on tomshardware.
This an amazingly quite power supply and doesnt have too bad of preformance either.
It is a little on the expensive side though.
